Spot functioning
Inflation and rigging area: It is zoned by cones (orange and white)
They are installed as soon as the Bise is steadily established. Kites must be inflated, rigged and stored (with lines folded) in this area. Kites that are not in use should be stored in the back part of the kite zone, to leave the waterfront area free for rigging. -
From June 15 to August 31:
- Navigation authorized before 10am in the morning and after 6pm
- Navigation open (kitesurfing and windsurfing) only if the kite zone is in place (orange and white cones).
- INFLATION & STORAGE on the grass: folded lines, storage at the back.
- RIGGING on grass and sand.
- LAUNCH in the water (beginning of the channel).
- DEPARTURE: Go upwind in the channel (forbidden to exit it) up to 300m.
- Navigation prohibited below the 300m limit from 6/15 to 8/31
- RETURN in the channel.
- LANDING in the water with the help of another rider.
- All equipment must be removed from the beach outside of navigation hours. -
If a rider has a problem in the water (e.g., inability to go upwind) and cannot reach the kite zone while staying in the navigation area, they must use their release system and wrap their lines to reach the kite zone by beach while holding their kite in hand (no rider should be on the beach or in the swimming area with their kite in the air during the summer period).
From September 1 to June 14
- Obligation to use the kite zone (orange and white cones) when it is in place.
- INFLATION & STORAGE on the grass: folded lines, storage at the back.
- RIGGING on the grass.
- LAUNCH tolerated on the sand, preferred in the water.
- DEPARTURE: Go upwind to avoid interfering with departures.
- Navigation tolerated below the 300m limit from 9/1 to 6/14, preferred above.
- QUICK RETURN to avoid interfering with departures.
- LANDING tolerated on the sand, preferred in the water. -
If the wind drops in the middle of the day: In order not to occupy the entire beach when there is no more wind, kites that have remained inflated (with lines folded on the bar) must be arranged one behind the other to reduce the kite zone as much as possible and leave space for beachgoers.
Any rider not respecting these rules may be removed from the water and sanctioned by the municipal police. Thank you for respecting these common sense rules to avoid any incident.

Spot opening date
Open from 01/09 to 15/06
The spot is closed from 10am to 6pm during the summer period.
Spot currently open :-)
Parking
Parking at the foot of the spot, 5 euros in high season, free before 9am and after 5pm
Free in low season
Hazards
Watch out for stakes in the swimming area, within the 300-meter band when navigating outside the season.
Also be careful during strong Bise winds, launching with feet in the water is preferred because in case of release or incident, kites end up in the nearby restaurants.
Wind specificities
In case of high temperatures in summer, a forecasted light Bise has very little chance of working at the spot due to the topography of the place, especially in the middle of the day.
